Restraint Reduction Network

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) have stated that from April 2021 they expect to see all services across the health and social care sector using training in restrictive practices that are certified as complying with the ‘Restraint Reduction Network Standards’.

The Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) Standards have worked with Health Education England to produce a set of ethical training standards that protect human rights and supports the minimisation of restrictive practices. These standards apply to both child and adult services.
