Death of an employee
On the 20th May the government published guidance about how local authorities and social care providers can inform the Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC) about the death of an employee or volunteer.
With this announcement came an extension of the bereavement scheme from The Home Office, to the families and dependents of NHS support staff and social care workers, who have died as a result of contracting the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
