Achieving successful CQC Registration – a guide to the documents you will need.

In order to achieve CQC registration all of the documents shown in bold below need to be submitted. 

  • Provider Application
  • Registered Manager Application

Supporting documents to be submitted with application forms….  

  • Statement of Purpose
  • Financial Viability Statement 
  • Business Plan Public and Employer Liability Insurance quote or certificate
  • Staffing structure/Organisation Chart
  • Policy Index
  • Staff training matrix/plan

    You will also need to submit the following policies/documents with all of the above (which we can provide):  
  • Safeguarding Adults policy and procedure
  • Good Governance policy
  • Quality Assurance policy
  • Sample care plan
  • Recruitment policy
  • Complaints policy and procedure
  • Mental Capacity and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) policies
  • Medications policy
  • Lone working policy
  • Access to people’s homes policy
  • Duty of Candour policy
  • Infection Control policy and procedure

What will I need to begin the process?

  • An Enhanced CQC-DBS;
  • A copy of your Business Plan;
  • Your company logo (to personalise everything, should you wish);
  • CV’s for your Registered Manager and Nominated Individual;
  • If available, your company website address.
